Looking ahead
2012 recruit Robert Polesello assisted on two Vaughan goals in the Vipers’ 5-2 win over Toronto in OJHL play. The speedy centerman has a 13-26-39 line in 28 games, including eight points in the past four games.

Women’s program
Terriers extended their winning streak to 11 games, matching the team’s 11-game unbeaten streak earlier in the season, as they blanked Vermont, 4-0 in Burlington. The win was the 100th for the program which is midway through its sixth varsity season.

Freshman Marie-Philip Poulin led the offense with a hat trick giving her a BU record 41 points on the season. Another first-year player, Louise Warren, added the fourth goal. In recording her team record fifth shutout of the season, freshman Kerrin Sperry needed to stop just nine shots at the Terrier defenders locked down the Catamounts. With the win, BU opens up a three-point lead in Hockey East with eight league games left on the schedule.
