Camp season



Senior Corey Trivino (photo) and junior Ben Rosen are in Islanders development camp along with a few rivals from Northeastern.

The Denver Post talked with Kieran Millan, who is attending his first Colorado Avalanche development camp. The Goalie Guild interviewed Millan and a another goalie in a podcast (2nd interview)

Looking ahead
2012 recruit Matt O’Connor, who will tend the nets for Youngstown again this season, was in Ottawa’s camp and made a strong impression.

2013 recruit Danny O’Regan, who scored 8 points in the Select 17 camp and played in the tournament all-star game, was named to USA Hockey’s U-18 Select squad which will play in the Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament in Slovakia and The Czech Republic next month.

Colby Cohen’s junior team, the Lincoln Stars, interviewed him about his Stanley Cup experience.

John Laliberte, who has re-upped for a third season in the German DEL with Wolfsburg Grizzly Adams, has been instrumental in organizing a charity hockey event in his hometown, Saco, Maine, to benefit the Michael T. Goulet Foundation, which raises funds and heighten awareness about traumatic brain injuries and epilepsy disorders. Goulet's sister, Candace, is married to Laliberte. Details.

Keith Tkachuk, who scored 1065 points in 1201 NHL games, is following the exploits of oldest son Matthew, who played in this year's USA Hockey’s Select 14 camp and finished among the top five scorers.
