Junior assistant captain Alex Chiasson, whose game-winning goal in the second overtime against New Hampshire capped a four-point night—and a six-point quarterfinal series, was named Hockey East Player of the Week.

Defensive Player of the Week honors went to senior netminder Kieran Millan, who made 150 saves during the three games against UNH, registering a .943 save percentage. His 68 saves on Sunday broke the conference playoff record of 65 set by Chris Terreri in 1985. Millan also remains in first place in the Army ROTC Three-Stars competition.

Named to the list of top performers for the week: Captain Chris Connolly, Sahir Gill and Garrett Noonan.

► Sunday's quarterfinal clincher was the longest game in Agganis Arena history at 86:42, eclipsing the record of 82:00 set just two days earlier in the series opener on Friday.

►Millan enters the week needing just seven saves to tie the record for saves in a Hockey East tournament, as UNH's Kevin Regan totaled 157 during the 2007 tournament.

►With Sunda’s victory, BU has recorded 11 come-from-behind victories in each of the past two seasons. Terriers also own the Division 1 current longest streak of consecutive games without being shut out.

►This coming weekend's Hockey East tournament semifinals and championship game will air regionally on NESN and nationally on NBC Sports Network.
