BU’s home-and-home series against BC (Nov. 30 and Dec. 1) will
air nationally on NBC Sports Network. U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame announcer Doc
Emrick will handle play-by-play
for both games. Emrick last called a
BU-BC game in December 2004 during another NHL lockout. It proved to be a
milestone win, Jack Parker’s 700th career victory, with a third-period
Brad Zancanaro goal making the difference.

Women’s Team
Co-captain Marie-Philip Poulin’s second period goal helped
Canada defeated the USA in the 2012 Four Nations Tournament
in FInland. Former captain Jenn Wakefield, who has a goal and an assist in two
games, and former BU blueliners Catherine Ward and Tara Watchorn are also on
the Team Canada roster.
