Looking ahead
Three future Terrier made the scoresheet in the NTDP U18s 6-2 win against Youngstown. 2014 recruit Jack Eichel scored his 19th goal of the season on the power play, extending his point streak to 12 games. According to the USA Hockey recap, “Eichel swung around from the left hashmarks to collect the puck at center ice and cut back toward DeAugustino. Dancing around three Youngstown defenders, Eichel pulled the puck back toward his body in the left circle and sent a puck hard along the ice that sped under DeAugustino's pads for the third goal of the night.”

2014 recruit J.J. Piccinich assisted on the Phantom’s first of two power play goals and later added his own goal, assisted by 2015 recruit Maxim Letunov. Piccinich now has a 13-10-23 line in 23 games, while Letunov now has a 9-10-19 line.

Looking back
Matt Nieto scored twice and added two assists for Worcester as the Sharks ripped Portland, 8-2. Playing in his second game since being assigned to Worcester, Nieto earned first-star honors.

Former Terrier teammates Wade Megan and Sahir Gill found themselves on opposites sides last night in ECHL action. The duo scored the only goals in regulation—Gill, his fourth for Wheeling and Megan, his 10th for Cincinnati. The game came down to a shootout with Gill scoring the decisive goal, as the Nailers, led by Coach Clark Donatelli ran their unbeaten streak to 12 (10-0-2) with a 2-1 win.

Women’s Team

Lefort, who also scored twice in Friday's 6-5 win , assisted on both of Warren’s goals. Warren’s second goal was a shorthanded and she assisted on Lefort’s first.

Freshman goalie Victoria Hanson stopped 33 shots to gain her second win and lower her GAA to 2.22.

BU finished the semester with a 14-3-1 overall record and 8-0-0  in Hockey East. Notably, the Terriers won all 16 home games they played in 2013 including seven this season.
