Inside BU Hockey features Bernie Corbett’s interviews with Head Coach David
Quinn, freshman wing AJ
Greer and former BU All-American goalie J.P. McKersie. Greer, who scored
his second goal last Saturday against Union, is the youngest of the Terriers,
having turned 18 last month. He played two seasons at Kimball Union, scoring 92
points in 61 games and serving as co-captain last year, before accelerating his
education to arrive at BU this season.
McKersie
played for
three Terrier squads that reached the NCAA Final Four, including the
1993-94 national finalist squad for whom he delivered a 19-4-0 record and 2.90
GAA en route to All-American second team honors. During the following summer,
he suffered severe head injuries in a near-fatal bicycle accident and spent the
next season rehabilitating from the injuries. He returned to the team in
1995-96 and at the same time served as volunteer coach of the Junior Terriers.
His generous efforts, while still recovering, earned him the first-ever Hockey
Humanitarian Award (photo) in 1996.
Terriers
flew to Wisconsin today for their two-game series with the Badgers beginning
tomorrow night. Both games begin at 8 p.m. ET and will air on Wisconsin
Public TV and WPT Online. In addition, the games will be live-streamed on BTN2Go.

team at our disposal for the first time all year."

Terriers were edged, 4-3, by top-ranked Boston College in the season’s first
meeting between the Commonwealth Avenue rivals. The loss snapped BU’s
seven-game unbeaten streak (6-0-1) stretching back to November 14 and gives the
Terriers a 12-4-2 record.

Tuesday
night freshman Victoria Bach and former BU captain Louise Warren each scored a
goal and an assist for Team Canada in its 4-0 win
over Sweden in the gold-medal game of the Nation’s Cup Tournament in Fussen,
Germany. Bach was the tournament’s top
scorer with five goals and an assist. Current Terriers Lefort and Shannon Doyle
and former Terrier Kaleigh Fratkin also were in the Canadians’ line-up.
