IBUH Episode 3; Terriers in the NHL Update--UPDATED

Episode 3 of Inside BU Hockey features Bernie Corbett’s interviews with David Quinn, Assistant Captain Matt Lane (photo) and former Terrier Travis Roy.  A senior center who already has a pair of goals this season, Lane was a teammate of Terrier captain Matt Grzelcyk and sophomore Nikolas Olsson on the USNTDP U18s and helped the squad win gold in the World U18 Championship, while being named one of Team USA’s top three players. Assistant captain Danny O’Regan also joined the U18s for that tournament.

Roy, who was a freshman in 1995, was honored this week with “Travis Roy Day in Boston” and a fund-raising gala at Agganis Arena recognizing the work of The Travis Roy Foundation for victims of spinal cord injuries and marking 20 years since his own injury.
