Game Day: Terries host Maine

#3/4 Terriers bring a six-game winning streak (8-1-1 in last ten) into a home and home series with Maine. Tonight’s game at Agganis Arena begins at 7:35 and is available on the Terrier TV free livestream via Campus Insiders. The first 3,500 at Agganis will receive a BU winter hat.

The Black Bears (8-11-3) are coming off a 4-0 win against Connecticut at Frozen Fenway. It was Maine’s second Hockey East win; the other was a 5-2 win against Lowell in November.  Top scorers are forwards Cam Brown (26 points), Blaine Byron (23) and  Chase Pearson (15). Rob McGovern, who handles the majority of goaltending duties, has a 2.80 GAA and a .914 save percentage.

Jakob Forsacka Karlsson and Patrick Harper share the team points lead with 22 while Jordan Greenway has 20 and Clayton Keller has 15.  Jake Oettinger is the conference's top goalie in both conference and overall play with a 1.78 GAA and a .937 save percentage. In the faceoff circle, JFK is tied for second in the conference with a .625 win percentage.
Shane Switzer has recovered from his upper-body injury, so the Terriers have all hands available for tonight’s game.
